Installing Hugo and publishing Hugo web-pages on OpenBSD server

#1

Hello all,

I just wanted to share my new blog site and also the content I have written is about the installation of Hugo - a static site generator and then publishing the same Hugo generated website on the OpenBSD server.

#bsdhome

I had a hard time to understand the existing deployment tutorial blogs. They are using git or git-hooks script.
So, I thought to create a blog where I can explain the things very easily.

I have tried to explain it in an easy way.

Feel free to suggest improvements.

Thank you all.

Hmmm… I got a 404 Error when I clicked on the link.

That worked. Pretty cool. I am using Pelican for my static site generator.

Thanks, @jaypatelani. Actually, I changed my whole blog structure after posting the blog post link here, that is why it is showing 404 for that link.

Pelican is also nice, but I moved from Hugo to writing blog-site from scratch with the minimal and non-fancy way to increase the load time of the website. In Hugo, there was lots of unwanted JavaScript and web-fonts that makes it slow to process and load. So, then I decided to write minimal CSS file and HTML files, following KISS strategy.
